At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickramasinghe came to China to attend the third “Belt and Road” International Cooperation Summit on October 20, 2023. Both sides spoke positively of the progress made in cooperation between the two countries in the fields of culture and tourism. Both sides will continue to encourage citizens of the two countries to travel to each other’s countries and provide assistance to each other in developing tourism markets.

Harman Furniture undertakes the loose furniture, wooden fixing and installation projects of the Hilton Yala Resort in Sri Lanka. The grand opening of Hilton Yala Resort was held on August 20, 2023. The resort is adjacent to Sri Lanka’s Yala National Park.
